The diagnosis of breast cancer -- either personally or of a loved one -- is our common bond. Hope in Motion is an advocate founded cycling team whose sole mission is to educate people on cancer and how the Lance Armstrong Foundation can benefit the millions affected by the disease. Originally founded to participate in the LAF's LIVESTRONG Challenge in Philadelphia, PA, Hope in Motion's new goal is to expand to a national cancer team. We are the Quilting Angels. It’s not about Joining UP, but Joining IN – what you do has greater meaning. We meet twice a month at Mother Seton Parish, 19951 Father Hurley Blvd, Germantown, MD 20874. We have sewing and quilting ladies from Maryland, Virginia and DC in our group. We sew quilts for Quilts for Kids (pediatric cancer) and Quilts of Valor , for ALL those service-members and veterans touched by war with Wartime Quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVs).
